Other: Functionality improvement: Delay sync load alerting
Currently we receive alerts for Delay data delivery, but it is not extended to manual syncs via APIs.
Could you please extend this functionality to provide delay threshold notifications for manually triggered connectors? We've had cases where connectors take 3-4 times longer than usual due to large data volumes, and we'd like to notify consumers when loading is delayed.
This may mean revisiting the delay threshold feature to include sync execution time average and implement it across the board.
Currently, the UI for delay threshold option for such connectors is active as well, giving a wrong impression that it works for API triggered connectors.

Hi Reuben,
Thank you for this feedback! Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, you're looking to be alerted when the connector's ongoing sync takes longer than normal, correct?
And you want this alert for any connector, regardless of how they are scheduled/triggered?
Best,
Lyndsey

Correct Lyndsey. This will help notify us as developers and also inform consumers downstream via fivetran notifications that the sync is taking longer then expected.

Thanks, Reuben. We are actually looking at revising our delay algorithm slightly to be more focused on true anomalies, so when we make this change I will take this request into consideration as well!
