New Connector: SAP connector for Hana on public cloud

Hello Team,

Could you please let us when we would the SAP HANA S/4 on public cloud connector made available?

Our destination is snowflake.

Currently, we are using SAP DI and we have Datasphere under evaluation. Would like to understand by when would fivetran be available for the same?

    Hi Reuben,

    You might have seen that we have launched the SAP OData feature for our SAP connectors. Unfortunately, this was not enough to support sourcing from SAP Rise Public Cloud systems. We are planning to build a connector to source from popular public cloud APIs that are often requested.

    Updates on any progress related to this connector will be shared in this thread for the community.

    Fivetran is working on a SAP OData connector which should be able to connect to Odata end points of an S/4 HANA system. SAP OData API, is the way to export data from SAP HANA public cloud. We expect a private release later this year.
