    Hi Hannah,

    Thanks for the request. We are interested in building a BigCommerce connector too! We will be monitoring this thread as well as our other channels to understand demand and prioritize accordingly.

    I did close 3 other BigCommerce threads as duplicates of this one, since this was the first one posted. We can keep this one open for upvotes and comments on value/use case and other context!

    Though I expect that creating a custom Lambda connector based on the Singer IO framework should be fairly straightforward?  @... what if one of your customers built a starting point and handed off the Lambda source code to you guys to polish it off as an officially supported connector?

    Hi Joseph, thanks for the upvote and generous suggestion! It's a very exciting idea to leverage the community to accelerate new connector development. On a technical level, however, it's not something we're practically able to support at this time. We have our own internal frameworks for developing and managing connectors and our end-to-end guarantee on connector quality is a key value proposition for Fivetran. 

    That said, when our customers have experience working with a source API, we very much appreciate the opportunity to chat about tips, nuances, and 'gotchas' that might be inherent to the particular application. Sometimes our customers even help us get in touch with the right folks at the source organization to help with partnership efforts and bug fixes.

    Typically, as we narrow down our priorities for an upcoming planning period, we'll get in touch with the relevant requestors. So if a subtextual question here is whether it's a waste for you to build your own BigCommerce solution, I would say definitely not :)

    @... thank you for the candor!  So the next subtextual question is, whether you condone any sort of unofficial marketplace or library of 3rd party Lambda connectors developed within your customer community?  ;-)

    I'm also looking to bring in e-com transactional data using BigCommerce. Would be super helpful to have this connector. Any ETAs on this yet?

    We're also looking to bring in this connector for our analytics stack.  Is there an ETA when it will be available from the connector list?
