    I curious to understand more about why a generic REST API source connector with OAuth2 flow(s) would be the best way to meet your need.

    A generic REST API would be great for those softwares that are not as common place as Salesforce. You don't integrate with them and it would be nice to pull that data. In my case, we use ServiceTitan, which is a niche software for home services. They have a REST API but you don't have an integration for that or ServiceTitan
