Connector Improvement: Sync non-data Anaplan exports

I believe there is currently a limitation that Fivetran can only sync an Anaplan export if it was created from a data grid. There are other types of exports possible within Anaplan, such as exporting a List, or Line Item definitions. I would like to be able to sync those exports along with the data.
I'm curious:
a) am I understanding this functionality correctly?
b) are there plans to expand the functionality?
c) any other users run into the same limitation?
My current workaround is to manually run the Anaplan export to a CSV and load that to my target database.
