Dashboard Improvement: notification of schema change

Hello,

As per the Configure Column Blocking and Hashing doc, when a user use Allow all option, there is no need for notifications. We enable this only when Block All is selected.

I think this feature SHOULD be available even with ALLOW ALL selected so we'd know downstream applications' impact .
 
We don't want to BLOCK changes because we don't want stoppage in the flow but we STILL do want to get notified 
and I think this is negatively impacting Fivetran's customers observability.

    Hi Jafar, 

    Thanks for highlighting this – I think I understand where you are coming from on this, but it would be great to understand more about why you want notifications with the Allow All selection. It sounds like this is so that you are aware of the schema changes that have been made? 

    We do have logs within the system which should also help you with this, which I can direct you to or if you'd be up for talking more about your use cases for notifications, I'd love to set up some time.

    Big +1 here. It would simplify our processes a lot if we have email notifications when a schema changes, even though we allow all schema changes.

    Hi Tom, thanks for your feedback! That makes sense to me. Would you want just an email notification? Or is there any other type of alert you'd be looking for? (e.g. a webhook)

    Ideally we would like a Slack notification. We have enabled this via the slack-email work-around, but a native Slack integration would be better.
