Other: Exploring on how Lite Connectors could be used

Hi,

 

I was exploring the options to implement API's whose connectors are not available in Fivetran. That is where i came across lite connector. I would request u to enable this feature for me. Which enables me to learn more about the connector help us make a decision on how best it could be put to use.

    Hi Jugal,

    Currently, Lite Connectors are not available for direct activation. However, you can achieve a similar result by building a Fivetran Connector SDK, which enables data ingestion from custom APIs into your data destination.

    General steps for this approach:

    • Develop some custom python code to fetch and process data from your target API.

    • Upload that to Fivetran as a Connector SDK Connection.

    Example connectors are available in our open source connector repo
