Connector Improvement: Requesting for Rolling 30 day data sync
AnsweredHi there,
I am writing to request a function to refresh rolling 30 days's data when setting up connectors. Eg. data sync on 10/17 will refresh data for the date range of 9/18 - 10/17, data sync on 10/18 will refresh data for the date range of 9/19 - 10/18. The goal of this function is to ensure latent conversion events that happened after the initial sync can be picked up on a later day. This should have very wide use for all major digital media platforms (eg. Google Campaign Manager, Facebook, Google Ads, Google DV360, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)
Please feel free to contact me or comment if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi Steve Li, Calvin from the Product team here!
Thanks for submitting this request. Across all of our digital media platforms we have a rolling sync implemented in some shape or form - the amount of days we rollback will vary dependent on the source. Typically, this value is greater than the set conversion/attribution window to ensure we capture all latent conversion events and updated metrics.
Are there specific sources where you noticed we weren't capturing latent conversion events?

Hi Calvin,
Thanks for the response from your end. Currently we are seeing discrepancies in Google Campaign Manager, Facebook, and Pinterest. We will validate more sources on our end. You mentioned that you have different rollback days based on platform, is it possible that you can share a list of all major digital media platforms and their corresponding rollback days?
Thanks!

Hi Steve Li,
Sorry for the delayed response! Can please open up a support ticket regarding the discrepancies you are seeing so that our team can investigate to see if any action needs to be taken on our end? In regards to rollback days - this should correspond to the conversion/attribute window you set. If you provide a list of the digital media platforms in the support ticket, they can provide more information on the sync strategies as well.
