Other: Rotating Fivetran API Key

How can a Fivetran API Key be rotated without downtime? Currently it seems one can just re-generate the API key which makes the current key invalid immediately.

    We're planning on implementing system keys which will exist independent of users, which will solve for this. 

    In the meantime, the workaround is to switch to another account's API key temporarily (if you have RBAC enabled, be aware of different permissions), regenerate the key on the original, then switch back. 

    I know, a little kludgy, but we'll get this fixed soon enough!

    Jimmy, we are about to implement key rotation and would very much prefer to avoid the multi-account work around. Do you have a status update on this new feature?

    Hey Lars!

    We are actively working on the design of this and just sent out a survey to help scope it. We'd love your input! We don't yet have a timeline, but know this is an important feature for our API customers for both organizational and security reasons and it is prioritized.
