Other: GUI Enhancement for Resync on Manual Connectors
Currently in the web GUI if a connector has no schedule because it is set to manual API triggering, the connector won't automatically continue a historical resync if it hits an API limit.
The connector will say something like: "API Limit reached, connector will automatically reschedule the sync on your behalf"
The problem is this never happens for manual connectors because the user has disabled the schedule. Only by digging very deep into the document of Fivetran is this apparent. The correct action for this situation is for the end user to manually trigger the connector once the API limit has been refreshed. For some connectors this may take multiple manual attempts.
In these cases the GUI & logs should not state the connector will automatically reschedule itself. Suppose the connector is set to manual (no schedule). In that case, the GUI should have a warning message with the yellow triangle informing the user that they must manually continue resyncing via the API.
When I first ran into this issue, I had to open a case with support (#100094) where this was finally explained. To prevent other users from wasting their time and your support staff's time, I suggest making the GUI more explicit in this scenario.
