Connector Improvement: Microsoft List - Allow multiple Sharepoint sites
I tried out the Microsoft list connector and it worked well, but one piece of feedback. It would be great to be able to have one connector and pull data from multiple Sharepoint sites (currently it is single select). I have relevant data across several sites and don't want to create individual connectors for each. Even more important I don't want this to cause me to create multiple datasets in my destination (one per connector) with just a few tables each. It is much better for my users to have consolidation for this data source.

Hi Matt,
Thank you for sharing this great idea and the context for why it would help you. We'll take a look and see if we are able plan this into our roadmap sometime in the future.
Best regards
Alison

I'll also chime in. We put in a support ticket asking about this very thing. In the past year alone we've created 4000+ Sharepoint sites to work with our customers. For us, each site is more or less the same, just limited to a single customer. I don't want to setup 4000 Sharepoint Connections, and then have to add 20-30 more every single day.
We also have 3 separate Sharepoint subdomains, the connector's security is based on my security. We also need the ability to specify an integration account, not depend on the Fivetran administrator, who is almost universally not a Sharepoint Administrator to have some form of Admin level access to all of these sites. We should be able to setup a Sharepoint Integration that doesn't depend on my not winning the lottery and working until the end of eternity for the company I'm currently at in order for this integration to continue to function.
