Connector Improvement: MongoDB Oplog Retention Setting
The current setup for MongoDB requires a minimum of 8 hours' oplog data before the connector passes validation. It would be great to have the option to override this validation test - the user can assume the risk with ingestion data before this threshold has been reached.

Thanks for your post! In this case, the minimum retention period is required for the users' protection, but I agree it could be reduced to a warning rather than an error in case the user is aware of the risks and wants to move forward with the connector setup process.
I have shared this feedback with our engineering team, while I don't have a timeframe just yet we will be sure to review priorities to see when we can build this. Please stay tuned!
