Connector Improvement: Add subgoal relationships

Asana goals can have a hierarchical relationship, with some goals being "subgoals" of a parent goal. It would be nice to have a new table in the Asana schema for goal_relationships or goal_hierarchy showing a goal_id with one or more subgoal_ids.

This is useful, for example, to determine the overall progress/status of a goal based on its constituent subgoals.

    Hi Ken - Thanks for submitting this feature request. We don't have this planned, however it seems like a straightforward improvement to make. I will continue to track for demand for this feature. 

    Does Asana provide only 2 layers of goals (goal and sub goal) or can there be a multi layered goal hierarchy?

    Hi, Erin! Asana supports multiple layers of Goals (not sure if there's a max depth).

    Hi Ken - We have decided to take up this improvement! 

    We did notice however that Asana now has new "sub-goal" relationships, which allows for relationships with projects and portfolios too. The documentation for that is here:  https://developers.asana.com/docs/goal-relationship

    The link you provided above is actually no longer available, now that Asana supports this new relationship format.

    Hi Ken - This improvement has been released. You can find the release notes for the GOAL_RELATIONSHIP table here. This new table has also been updated and reflected in our ERD.
