TiDB (https://github.com/pingcap/tidb) is an open-source distributed SQL database that speaks MySQL protocol, and TiDB comes with its own CDC component (also open-sourced), TiDB also has a managed cloud offering on AWS & GCP (https://tidb.cloud), feel free to reach out if there is an opportunity to have a connector to FiveTran.
