Transformations: Include snapshots in the Fivetran dbt packages

I'm using your Xero connector, and part of my setup involves creating snapshots for all the Xero tables. This is simple but a bit tedious work, and it would be really great if the Fivetran source package for Xero (https://hub.getdbt.com/fivetran/xero_source/latest/) supported an option for snapshots, or perhaps it can be a second package dependent on the source package. I imagine the same would be useful for many other packages.

    It would be really very useful and powerful feature if we can run dbt snapshots from dbt transformations.

    Thanks for raising this! Snapshots are something we're looking at implementing in the UI sometime in the next few quarters. In the meantime, if you would like to write your own dbt jobs that run snapshots on source data, that is possible with Scheduled in Code transformations today.
