Other: LDAP/AD authentication in HVR 6

Hi, 

We have been using LDAP authentication in hvr5.x and working on upgrade to 6.x, it seems LDAP is no longer supported which means we will have to go back to common user or individual user account for all the users. 

Please let us know if LDAP authentication can be re-instated to 6.x?

    We also need AD integration. LDAP authentication in HVR 5.7 met our security requirements but it seems it is not available in HVR 6. When can we have this feature added back to HVR 6. Also like Fivetran, we would SSO integration with Azure AD in HVR 6.

    Hello,

     

    We were able to use LDAP script in HVR5 with minor tweaks in HVR6 and set up LDAP authentication using the hvrauth plugin.

    Thank you Priyanka and Jithendra,

    We will add to our upgrade documentation how to modify the HVR 5.7 LDAP authentication plugin to work as a Plugin for version 6.1. You can then continue to use the same LDAP authentication for users to the LDP hub.

    Separate from this we plan to introduce SAML authentication with LDP. Once we have that available you may want to shift to this option.
