Other: DES encrypted column to be decrypted in Maria DB connector

 Hi ....In the source database Maria DB, one of the columns in a table is DES encrypted. We are syncing this Maria DB tables via Fivetran Maria DB connector into our Warehouse, Snowflake.

We need a way for fivetran to decrypt the DES encrypted column in Maria DB connector.

    Thanks for your feedback in our feature request portal!

    Currently with the DES encrypted column, how is it appearing in the destination? Is it a random encrypted value that needs to be decrypted in the warehouse itself? Or, are you saying we should be decrypting the column before syncing it to the destination?

    Curious about your use case and how you are planning to use this column, I am not quite familiar with DES encryption so would love to hear more from you!
