    Hi all, esp. Cornelius,

We have recently released a new table DISCOUNT that contains types:

    • CHECKOUT_SESSION_LINE_ITEM
    • CREDIT_NOTE_LINE_ITEM
    • CUSTOMER
    • INVOICE_LINE_ITEM
    • PARENT_INVOICE_LINE_ITEM
    • SUBSCRIPTION

Please see the 2nd page of our Stripe ERD here. Let me know if this is not what you're looking for.

    Best,

    Sadie

Hi Ramiz - Thanks for submitting this feature request.

I agree having the discounts at the child level has more analytical value then at the parent / Invoice Header level. This should be a fairly straightforward request. I can add it to the backlog and have it prioritized in a future sprint.

    Erin

Hey all - this would also be a huge improvement and would allow us to switch to Fivetran for syncing Stripe data. We are limited to using Stitch to replicate Stripe data since it contains the line item discount arrays.

    Thanks!

Hey Erin - Is there any update to this feature request? Without it we'll start having to look at alternative tools since many of our discounts are at the line item level (both subscription an invoice line items).

    Thanks!

Hi Evan - We do still plan on adding this however I can't gurantee a time as of right now.

However, we recently added support for several new tables coming from the `checkout_session` endpoint in stripe (Fivetran Release Notes, Stripe Docs). The checkout session includes the tables `checkout_session_line_item` and `checkout_session_line_discount` which includes the discount at the item level.

Since successful checkout sessions result in an invoice being generated, the data you are looking for the `invoice_line_item` and `invoice_item` tables should be present in the checkout objects.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the above.

    Best,

    Erin

Hi Erin, I am currently testing Fivetran for the first time but this would be a dealbreaker for us to go forward. We are not using checkout within Stripe but create invoices directly and need therefore discounts on line item level for our analysis. Is this something that can be expected anytime soon? Thanks, Cornelius
