Following our engineering review and in-house testing, we can confirm that this is the expected behavior for Db2 LUW sources. When out-of-line LOB values are updated, Db2 does not log the pre-image payload as a result; HVR passes the before-image as an empty string ("").

Q Replication having configuration option to support large. If user want a data in sync due to rep ignoring pros and cons of large Lob we shoul dhave that functionality. Currently HVR ignore / sent NULL in that case.
