Activations: restore all-syncs view and persistent last-run sorting
I am from support and am making this on behalf of a customer.
The recent changes made to the Activations pages may suit one way of thinking, but they are not designed for workflows where users need to look at overall performance rather than just dip in for a specific reason.
While grouping under destinations may seem sensible, it does not allow me to track my pipelines’ progress and performance easily. There should be a page where all syncs are available. Pipelines are not always restricted to one destination one logical pipeline can feed a CRM, an order system, and a newsletter system so being restricted to one destination creates a fragmented view.
The pages also do not show what is running, only that the job is active. While there is a “last run” section, this is not sufficient.
The pages also do not remember my preference to see jobs in order of “last run.” It always returns me to name order, which is deeply frustrating.
Please involve a user group that looks at the user experience before releasing these types of changes. It is frustrating to have features that supported a particular workflow removed and replaced with a view that may feel more logical from a development perspective, rather than keeping the old workflow available in a separate tab or screen and augmenting it with the new design.
