Connector Improvement: Shopify: CustomerMoment to Understand Customer Journey
AnsweredHi,
To better serve our customers it's important to better understand the journey they take to make a purchase. The objects CustomerJourney and CustomerVisit available via Shopify's GraphQL API this will help us understand the time it takes to make a purchase and to ultimately coordinate our marketing efforts to align with prospective customers and existing customers natural behaviors.

Hi Everyone,
We just introduced a GraphQL Schema toggle in the Shopify connector setup flow. Enabling this toggle allows you to create a new Shopify connection using our GraphQL schema, which provides access to many newer Shopify fields and tables that are not available in the Legacy schema.
Since the Fulfillment object attributes is available only in the GraphQL schema, it will not appear in an existing Legacy schema connection. To sync this data, you'll need to create a new Shopify connection with the GraphQL Schema toggle enabled. Existing connections cannot be switched from the Legacy schema to the GraphQL schema.
Before creating a new connection, we recommend reviewing the following documentation:
- GraphQL vs. Legacy Schema (explains the differences between the two schemas)
- Setup Guide (includes details on enabling the GraphQL Schema toggle)
- July 2026 Release Notes (announcement of the GraphQL Schema toggle)
Since the requested field/table is now supported through the GraphQL schema, we are considering this feature request complete. If you have any questions about setting up a new GraphQL schema connection, please let us know.
Best

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks for the update on the GraphQL Schema toggle — we have it enabled on our Shopify connector and can confirm the GraphQL schema is working well overall.
However, I don't believe this feature request is fully resolved. The original request was specifically for CustomerJourneySummary.moments (the
CustomerMomentConnection) — the complete timeline of all customer interactions between first visit and purchase. This data is still not available in the GraphQL schema. Here's what we've confirmed in our destination (GraphQL Schema enabled, Connector ID:
undecided_together):Available today:
-
ORDERtable hasCUSTOMER_JOURNEY_SUMMARY_CUSTOMER_ORDER_INDEX,CUSTOMER_JOURNEY_SUMMARY_DAYS_TO_CONVERSION,CUSTOMER_JOURNEY_SUMMARY_READY -
CUSTOMER_VISITtable hasfirstVisitandlastVisitdetails (source, UTM, landing page, referrer)
Still missing:
-
CustomerJourneySummary.moments— the fullCustomerMomentConnection(all intermediate customer interactions/sessions between first and last visit) CustomerJourneySummary.momentsCount
The July 2026 changelog does not reference CustomerMoment or moments support being added. The
CUSTOMER_VISITtable only captures the first and last visit per order, not the intermediate touchpoints.Could you please re-open this request or clarify if the
momentsdata is expected to be added in a future release? We've also submitted a separate feature request for this through the formal channel.Shopify API reference for the missing data: https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/latest/objects/customerjourneysummary#field-moments
Thanks,
Shubham -
