Issue
Our advertiser renamed all ads in this ad account (prefix STEPEASE_… → STEPCLOUD_…) in Facebook Ads Manager. Ads Manager and the ad's change history show the new names, but the ad_history table in our destination still has only the old names.

What we checked
- The connector syncs normally. The latest _fivetran_synced in ad_history is 2026-10-12 06:16:27 UTC, and new or changed ads keep coming in daily.
- Across all 17,303 ads in this account, the latest ad_history row is still named STEPEASE…, and none is STEPCLOUD…. Even ads with updated_time on 2026-10-11 came in with the old name.
- We saw no sync activity on 2026-10-10.

Questions
1. Does the Facebook Ads connector capture ad name changes in ad_history? Is it triggered by a change in updated_time, or does a rename alone not get picked up?
2. Why were the renamed ads not synced with their new names? Was it a delay, a filter (for example on ad status or updated_time), or an API limitation?
3. What is the recommended way to get the current names into ad_history? Is it a re-sync of only the ad_history table, or something else? Would that affect the history rows already in the table?
4. Why were there no syncs on 2026-10-10?
