Other: Fivetran REST API | API key at the destination level

We wanted to leverage Fivetran REST API to trigger the syncs. The API keys is available at account management level and there is no other way we can generate new API keys for a specific purpose or for a specific destination.

we would like to have feature in fivetran having an API key at the destination level.

    Hi Pawan Prasad! Thanks for reaching out about this. We are currently exploring ways to make our API keys much more flexible in the future and divorced from user accounts.

    What other ways would you want an API key constrained? How would you like API keys managed (ie what users have access to what API keys)? Where have you seen this done well that you'd like us to emulate?

    We need this too.
    We'd like to differentiate dev/staging/prod destinations thus don't want the API clients to unintentionally mess up with each others destination. Also, to better segregate destinations for each business domain.

    Restricting/Assigning API Keys to specific destinations sounds reasonable.

    When can we expect an update on this?
