Other: Missing comparisson source and target

Couple of weeks ago, we had a major bug on Fivetran (request (45687)) This caused a discrepancy between source and target.

This has now been solved.

Problem is that there is no kind of error message that this happened.  We found the discrepancy weeks later.

We want some count check between source and target to prevent this.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your post in our feature request portal. A feature to run data validation between source and destination has been top of mind for Fivetran. We have been researching a few approaches to this, and will likely have follow-up questions for your on how this user experience will look.

    While I don't have a timeline available at the moment, some way to check data between source and target is a top priority for Fivetran, and we are going to prioritize this project relatively soon.
