New Connector: Require to build custom connector like 'Pingdom'

Hi,

We want to connect some sources which are not inbuild at Fivetran yet like 'Pingdom','6sense', 'Fastly' etc. Can we get any document for creating such connection of our own? Or only  Fivetran team can create such connection?
