Hi Christoph, Sam from the Product Team here - thanks for submitting this request! We recently released support for Excel files for the magic folder connectors ( which is in Private Preview for Google drive, Box and Dropbox)! It is available by default for OneDrive and SharePoint. If you are interested in utilizing any of the above-mentioned connectors please email beta@fivetran.com and we will share the appropriate setup form. Thanks for writing in and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I also have requirement to read excel files with named ranges to read from Fivetran and sync it to snowflake table. Is feature mentioned below by Sam, is available for public now ?

Strongly agree with this request. The Google Sheets connector is very flexible and easy to use, with how you can connect a single named range as a table and ignore the other contents of the workbook. Would love to be able to do the same for Excel (Sharepoint). The fact that The Sharepoint connector has to import the full contents of every sheet is very limiting when we have one tab with raw data that we want to send to our destination and another with pivot tables, analysis, etc.
