Connector Improvement: Salesforce Marketing Cloud support custom data

Hi.

In support case #43812 you confirmed that the Salesforce Marketing Cloud connector currently does not support Custom Data (i.e. custom objects, tables, and fields) and invited us to raise a feature request to add support.

I see some similar feature requests already but I am not sure if this is specifically covered by them so please consider this a feature request from us to add support for Custom Data.

Any more specific information needed about our case and what we would like to achieve, please let me know,

    Hi Paul, Drew from the product team here.

    We have attempted to implement Data Extensions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud a few different times, but as it currently stands the APIs are not able to support an export use case.

    Data extension objects do not have functional updated timestamps and the API flow to identify the objects and request the data is unreliable. We recognize the importance of this data, so we will keep trying, but I don't have a timeline to share regarding when full support for custom data will be available.
