Connector Improvement: Request ability to not ingest all data from Square

Hi Feature Request Team,

 

I need help around ingestion from Square. Specifically, how to not ingest credit card information. There is no current ability to select which tables to sync, but we have seen some functionality with other connectors (we were able to priority sync, for example, with SFMC which is a sub - selection of tables at beginning of sync). We want to use fivetran for data connections with our customers who use square, but we need the ability to not ingest all of the data.

    Hi Victoria - 

    Thanks so much for submitting this feature request. It sounds like what you're looking for is a way to de-select tables from Square, is that correct? We have gotten other customer requests for this feature, so it is something we are considering implementing. 

    However, if you are just looking to just block credit card fields or other PII, you could use universal column masking, which will be a new feature available in mid November! If this is a feature you want to start testing now, you can reach out to your customer success manager for more information on Private Preview testing.
