Cvent Connector - Support for RFP (Request for Proposal) Endpoints
AnsweredHi Team,
Hope you are doing well.
We request that Fivetran expand the native Cvent connector to support Cvent’s RFP REST API endpoints. Accessing RFP data is critical for organizations using Cvent to manage venue sourcing, supplier negotiations, and event planning alongside their core event datasets.
Business Use Case & Value -
A significant portion of venue sourcing - linking businesses with hoteliers to secure sleeping rooms and meeting spaces - is managed directly through Cvent's RFP module.
Bringing this data into our centralized data warehouse and aggregating it with down-stream event, finance, and supplier data is essential for:
Supplier Management & Negotiation - Gaining full visibility into historic proposal terms, pricing, and hotelier relationships.
Forecasting & Budgeting - Analyzing venue spend and guest room commitments early in the event lifecycle.
Operational Reporting - Tracking RFP response times, custom field tracking, and venue lead sources.
Without these endpoints, we are unable to build a complete pipeline of our event operations within Fivetran and must rely on manual exports or custom pipeline builds.
Requested Endpoints & Scopes -
We request full read support for the following REST API endpoints available in Cvent’s API -

rfp-agenda-items:read
rfp-attachments:read
rfp-custom-fields:read
