Connector Improvement: Wise_Solutions_LLC looking to add custom field to Quickbooks connector

Customer is in trial and looking to move ahead with us, however there is a vital report he needs for his client and it involves the Quickbooks connector.

His client has a field in QB called "Category" which is used to categorize their expenses, it was mentioned that this field wasn't found in the Fivetran Schema.

Customer is looking to add this field to the data being ingested from Quickbooks.

 

The information below is what the customer requested:

 
"I'd like to add "Category" to the following tables:
 
bill
purchase
journal_entry
vendor_credit
 
And, I'm not 100% sure if the Category field is available for these tables, but if so, I'd like to add it:

purchase
purchase_order
 
 
Here is a screenshot of the field in the Quickbooks UI since I'm not entirely sure what that translates to in their database."

    Hi Michael - 
    Currently we support custom fields for the following tables in Quickbooks:

    • CREDIT_MEMO
    • ESTIMATE
    • INVOICE
    • PURCHASE_ORDER
    • REFUND_RECEIPT
    • SALES_RECEIPT

    At this time your customer's Category field would only be able to be synced if it was on one of the above tables. We will continue to track requests for custom fields in Quickbooks to monitor demand for this feature.
