New Connector: AWS Cost Explorer Connector

Monitoring and reporting on AWS cloud consumption costs can be done through the AWS Cost Explorer for users with privileged access but we'd like to surface the costs of AWS tiers to individual engineering and product teams to drive better cost management within the organization. This would be even more powerful if we had the ability to also pull cloud costs from GCP and Azure to report on our cloud spend across clouds in a combined way.

This also helps support a lot of the new paradigms for engineering and product organizations around FinOps or FinSecDevOps.

    Hi David, Sabrina from the Product Team here - thanks for submitting this request! Unfortunately, we do not currently have this planned. That said, have you looked into using a cloud function to pull your AWS Cost Explorer data? Check out the AWS Cost Explorer API documentation here. In the meantime, we will continue to collect customer demand to justify the commitment to support & maintain a high-quality Fivetran connector. Every upvote on this request increases the case to build it.

    +1, we are currentyl using a cloud function for this, but we want to keep it simple and have everything in one place.
