    Hi Ahmed,

Thanks for the request! The legal entity name may already be in your destination, under a different column name than you'd expect.

In 2019, Stripe retired the legal_entity field. They split it into company, individual and business_profile, and our Stripe connector follows that newer structure. Here's where to look:

    - Legal business name (companies): STRIPE.ACCOUNT.COMPANY_NAME. This is the registered legal name, from Stripe's company.name.
    - Public-facing business name: STRIPE.ACCOUNT.BUSINESS_PROFILE_NAME. This is the name shown to customers, which may differ from the legal name.
    - Sole proprietors (BUSINESS_TYPE = 'individual'): the legal name is in the STRIPE.PERSON table. Join it to ACCOUNT on ACCOUNT.INDIVIDUAL_ID = PERSON.ID, then use FIRST_NAME and LAST_NAME.

Could you check whether these columns give you what you need, and let us know either way?

    - If you don't see COMPANY_NAME at all, check the Schema tab of your Stripe connection to make sure the column hasn't been excluded.
    - If the column is there but empty for some accounts, please file a support ticket with example account IDs so we can look into it.

    Thanks,
    Sadie
