Cash Accounting Basis

Describe your request and intended use: The current dbt is based on accrual accounting.  It would be great to have an option to choose accrual or cash accounting so that the data is transformed to accurately represent what is seen in Quickbooks based on our accounting basis.

    Hi Asa, thanks for reaching out with this feature request. 

    Supporting cash basis, in addition to accrual, is something we've had requests for in the past (see this GitHub Issue for details). This would be a great addition to the data model to ensure wider support. If we were to start working on a version to support both cash and accrual via a variable config, would you be open to testing on your end before we went forward with a wider release?

    @Joe Yes, I would be open to testing.  What would a timeline look like? We are on the free version, so I would want to ensure that any testing we do would not count towards the limits that are in place causing us to exceed the free version.
