This connector is based on log journals, which means each new journal requires a separate Fivetran connector. In our DB2 environment, we have multiple libraries (DB2 schemas, shown as Named Databases in the Fivetran UI) that share the same log journal.

 

If I do not use the database name filter, the connector times out because our database contains more than 100,000 objects, plus we dont even  want to sync all of them. 

 

If I use the database filter, the connector is restricted to a single library. As a result, I have to create multiple connectors for multiple libraries, but this is causing performance issues on our DB2 host.

 

I am looking for a way to configure a single connector with multiple libraries (or databases) as filters to avoid the performance overhead on our IBM i DB2 system.
