Which connector?:Salesforce for Hybrid Agent

Additional details:

Deployment type: Hybrid Deployment (HD)

The problem: The Salesforce connector does not route outbound traffic through the corporate proxy configured in the HD environment (e.g., via https_proxy / http_proxy environment variables), preventing syncs where direct outbound internet access is blocked by firewall policy.

The desired behaviour: The Salesforce connector should detect and respect the proxy settings configured in the Hybrid Deployment environment, routing all outbound API calls through the specified proxy.

Business impact: Currently unable to sync data from Salesforce to Snowflake and we currently manually download Salesforce data into a csv to then move where we need it.

This manual solution needs to replaced with an automated solution in September to support a client reporting project, so we're looking at alternative approaches like Snowflake Openflow and Salesforce data cloud integration, but would prefer to use the Fivetran hybrid agent for consistency with our other source system integrations.
