Enable Support for Productboard "Initiative" and "Subfeature" Entities and Enhanced Relationship Data

Additional details:

We are currently using the Fivetran Productboard v2 connector to power our Product Management reporting in Snowflake. While we have successfully ingested most core entities (Feature, Product, Component, Objective, Release, Release Group, Company), we are missing critical entities and relationship data required to build a complete reporting hierarchy.

Specifically, we request that Fivetran natively support the following:

1. New Entity Support:

  • Initiative
  • Feature
  • Subfeature
  • KeyInsights

2. Required Relationship Data:

To connect our data into a reliable hierarchy for end-to-end traversal, we require the following relationship links:

  •  
  • Objective → Initiative
  • Initiative → Product
  • Product → Component → Child Component → Feature → Subfeature

Context/Use Case:

Our goal is to create a complete Product Management reporting hierarchy in Snowflake. While we currently have access to base entity tables, the missing Initiative and Subfeature entities—and the lack of explicit relationship mapping between the objects listed above—prevent us from reliably traversing the Productboard data model.

    Thank you for the detailed request. We have added support for the Initiative, Subfeature, and Key Result entities, along with their relationship data, to our active backlog. We have confirmed that Productboard's v2 API exposes these entities and the relationship links needed to build the hierarchy you described.
     
    One note from our initial review: some of the objective-to-initiative and initiative-to-product connections are represented as flexible links rather than strict parent-child relationships, so we will validate that the full traversal you need is achievable. We will keep you updated on this thread as we make progress.
