Activations documented long term storage of actual customer data (not just surrogate keys, etc) in Activations SaaS (or even in a Hybrid deployment, for that matter) is challenging for us company to push through with our legal department.  I suggest that Activations' system architecture be upgraded, more like classic Fivetran SaaS data storage, in which actual customer data is cached only during a sync session.  Falling back on a hybrid architecture, although it might satisfy legal concerns, means taking on more infrastructure than we want to, so upgrading the SaaS architecture seems more appropriate.
