Sync QuickBooks Online "Sales Tax Payment" (Automated Sales Tax remittance) transactions
AnsweredWe use QuickBooks Online's Automated Sales Tax feature to remit collected sales tax to our state tax agency. These "Sales Tax Payment" transactions are visible in QuickBooks' own reports but do not appear to sync into our Fivetran destination through any currently-available table.
As a result, our bank account balances in the destination are overstated relative to QuickBooks by the cumulative total of these payments, and our sales tax liability account remains inflated because the corresponding paydown transactions are also missing. This makes our synced financial data unreliable for bank reconciliation and liability reporting.
We'd like to request that the QuickBooks connector add support for syncing these sales tax payment/remittance transactions, so our destination data accurately reflects our QuickBooks balances.

Hi Valerio,
This is a valuable feature request. We have added your suggestion to our backlog of connector improvements.
I am curious to learn more about your use case. Aside from the reconciliation and sales tax liability reporting you mentioned, are there any other workflows or downstream applications that are blocked by the absence of these “Sales Tax Payment” records in your destination? Additionally, do you need both the payment and any related metadata, or are there specific fields that are especially important for your reporting?
We will keep this community thread updated with any progress or status changes regarding this request.
Thanks,
Tom
