Additional details:

Add an option to the connector to change the log file directory when "archive log only mode" isn't selected. Today we use HVR and there is a way to point to a different log file directory when we're using the "redo direct access" capture method. In this connector, we can only change the log file directory when using "archive log only mode", which has a higher latency. It seems odd that both capture methods use the log files, but only one allows you to point to a different log file directory.

    We will check internally if there is a workaround to set a different log file directory even when doing direct redo access in HVA. We will let you know here when there is more clarity.
