REST connector
AnsweredI'm requesting that a general REST connector be added. Using this, users can provide an enpoint, params, headers, etc...all the basic things used in a REST API call. Right now the process is to create a new set of python code each time...lots of integration tools offer a REST connector.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for submitting this request. We’re pleased to share that Fivetran’s AI Connector Agent, currently in Beta, is designed to address this use case.
The AI Connector Agent can generate a production-ready connector for supported REST APIs by analyzing publicly available API documentation or an uploaded API reference, including OpenAPI or Swagger files, Postman collections, and PDF documentation. Once the connector is generated, you can review the available endpoints, select the data you want to sync, configure authentication, and approve the destination schema.
This provides a fully managed, no-code experience. Fivetran hosts and operates the generated connector, removing the need to write, deploy, or maintain custom Python code or supporting infrastructure.
For additional information and setup instructions, please refer to the AI Connector Agent documentation.
Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.
Thanks,

Hi Tom - thanks for the info. I tried this connector last week. I saw a message that in 30-60 mins I would be getting an email with the results. I don't believe I ever got an email. Is there a place in the UI I can look for what was created?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the feedback. Good news - the extraction completed successfully. The confirmation email may have landed in spam, but either way you do not need it to proceed.
Log in and go to your Connections page. Find the DealCloud connector in your list - in the "Last synced" column you will see a "Review endpoints" link. Click that to see the full list of extracted endpoints, choose which ones you want to sync, then complete the setup form with your DealCloud credentials and hit Save and Test.
Once you complete those steps, the connector build will begin. If you run into any issues or would like to track this formally, feel free to raise a support ticket and we can follow up there.
Thanks,
Tom
