Hi Ajay, thanks for reaching out, and you're right that the default Quickstart model filters out historical records. Good news: the dbt package already supports retaining them in both staging and downstream models for account, contact, and opportunity. See details here.

These models aren't in the Quickstart data model yet, but we can add support via a configurable variable, likely within the next few weeks. Would you be interested in testing it before general release? If not, I'll let you know once it's live.

Also, if there are other objects beyond account, contact, and opportunity you'd like historical tracking for in the prebuilt transformation, let us know, we're open to expanding support based on your needs.
