    Hi Hanna,
Thank you for the detailed breakdown of the gaps in the Cvent connector schema. This is a substantial set of improvements for event financial and attendee reporting, and we have added it to our feature improvements backlog.
Given the scope, it would help to know which pieces matter most for your immediate reporting needs, for example the order-level financial measures or the registration group linkage.

We will keep you updated on this thread as we make progress.

I want to add my strong support for this feature request, specifically prioritizing the event_order_item table.

Without event_order_item, it is currently impossible to accurately calculate "Amount Due" or identify unpaid invoices in our data warehouse. Because Fivetran's current implementation relies on event_transaction to determine financial metrics, any order where payment is deferred (like "Invoice Me" or "Purchase Order") fails to generate a transaction record, resulting in a false $0 balance in the data warehouse.

Access to the event_order_item table (via GET /orders/items) is critical. It provides the base orderAmount independent of the transaction ledger, allowing us to accurately calculate the true amountDue and effectively manage our accounts receivable and outstanding balances. This is our highest priority reporting gap.

    Hi Unnikrishnan,

below is our suggested prioritisation based on business impact.

Priority 1 – Critical for Event Performance & Revenue Reporting

Our immediate need is to calculate event performance, revenue, and conversion metrics. To achieve this, the following capabilities are essential:

    • Order breakdown (admission fees, sessions, taxes, discounts, fees)
    • Product type classification for all order components
    • Session purchases and associated amounts
    • Linkage between cancellation/refund orders and the original order

Without these capabilities, revenue reporting remains incomplete, as we cannot accurately determine what was purchased, how revenue was generated, or correctly account for cancellations and refunds.

    Priority 2 – Registration Attribution

The next most important requirements are:

    • Group registration identifiers
    • Support for registrations completed on behalf of another attendee

These capabilities are important for understanding attendee relationships, registration behaviour, and accurately reporting participation.

Priority 3 – Business Keys & Integration Support

    • Object codes (Order Code, Event Code, Session Code, Admission Item Code, etc.)

These are valuable for integrations, reconciliation, and business reporting, although they are not blocking our immediate reporting objectives.

    Priority 4 – Pricing Visibility

    • Admission item pricing and pricing history
    • Session pricing

These enhancements would enable more detailed analysis of pricing strategies, discount effectiveness, and purchasing patterns.

    Priority 5 – Remaining Enhancements

The remaining items, such as invoice information and event-level tax settings, would be beneficial but are lower priority compared to the requirements above.

    Regards,
    Hanna

Update - we are working on adding these endpoints and data.

    Hi Unnikrishnan,

    Great news, thank you!
Could you please share expected delivery timelines for all enhancements. Thank you in advance.

This is being rolled out right now.

    Hi Unnikrishnan,

    Great! Thanks for the update.
Could you please clarify what exctly was rolled out?

    Hanna,

Here is a copy of the announcement from Fivetran that went out on Aug 11th.  Hope this is helpful until a "Fivetranner" responds. :-)

We're excited to announce that starting August 25, 2026, we're adding new tables and columns to the Cvent connector so you can report on order value, pending revenue, event performance, conversion rates, discount utilization, and attendee spend.

    What's new
The following new tables will be added to your Cvent connector:

    • EVENT_ORDER_ITEM: Track individual line items within each event order, including pricing and quantities.
    • EVENT_ORDER_ITEM_DISCOUNT: See discounts applied to each order line item.
    • EVENT_ORDER_ITEM_GENERAL_LEDGER_ITEM: Reconcile order line items against your general ledger accounts.
    • ADMISSION_ITEM: Track admission items available for each event session.

We've also added new columns to the following existing tables:

    • EVENT_ORDER: order_code, invoice_number, total_ordered_amount, amount_paid, amount_due, reference_number, deleted
    • ATTENDEE: checkin, check_out, duration, deleted_guest, registration_cancelled_at, reference_id, external_references, note, visibility, bio, show_popup_notification, website_url, allow_push_notifications, primary_id, administrator_id, credit, appointment_groups, web_links, custom_fields
    • SESSION: relevance, created_by, last_modified_by, automatically_opens_on, automatically_closes_on, enable_waitlist_virtual, waitlist_capacity_virtual, capacity, capacity_virtual, registration_types, admission_items, segments, session_order

For more information, please review the updated ERD.

    MAR Notice
We'll be offering free MAR (monthly active rows) for the historical sync of the new tables, and incremental syncs will be counted towards paid MAR.

    Schema Change Handling
If your Schema Change Handling settings are set to Allow all, these tables and columns will be automatically added and will start syncing to your destination once available. If you want to block the new tables from being added to your connection, you can update your Schema Change Handling settings before August 25, 2026. After this date, you can also deselect any of the new tables on your connection's Schema tab at any time to avoid additional paid MAR usage.

    When will this happen?
We will apply this change on August 25, 2026.

If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to contact our support team through our support portal.

Thank you for being a valued customer, and happy data pipelining!

    The Fivetran Team

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for sharing! This is really helpfull.

    @Unnikrishnan,

We're excited about these enhancements. The addition of order-related data, admission items, discounts, and the expanded attendee and session attributes will significantly improve the analytics that can be produced.

That said, it appears that not all items included in the original feature request are covered by this release, while the request itself has been marked as completed. Specifically, we're still missing several capabilities that were important to us, including group registrations, event tax information, registrations created on behalf of another attendee, etc.

Could you please clarify whether these remaining items are still on Fivetran's roadmap? If so, do you have any indication of the expected timeline for their delivery?

We greatly appreciate the progress that has been made, but having visibility into the status of the outstanding requirements would help us plan our reporting and data integration strategy going forward.

    Thanks, Hanna
