Can we avoid GRANT CREATE permission in Redshift for Fivetran

Which destination?: Redshift

 

Additional details: Redshift destination requires GRANT CRATE access which is to have ability to create schema in Resdhift DB. but in our Org creating a schema goes through approval workflow and hence tool will not be allowed to create schemas. add the feature so thatg it should utulize the schema which is manually created and not ask for schema creation access.

    Egidio Terra and Arun Chowdhary, please note as discussed, I have raised this Feature request. Hoping we will get this feature/solution as soon as possible

    As Egidio agreed during our call, agreed to pursue a feature request to utilize a separate, dedicated database for transient staging schemas to resolve the compliance/permission conflict.

      • 1. Evaluate the technical feasibility of using a separate database for staging.
      • 2. Investigate the 51-slot verification issue occurring during destination setup to determine why this persists with manual WLM configurations.
