Additional details:

update sql server connection to include Multisubnetfailover=True param. We have several sql servers that are configured with Always on Availability Groups across multiple subnets. We need to be able to configure Multisubnetfailover=True so that the DNS name can resolve on more than 1 IP on different subnets. It's a pain to have to email you guys a ticket every time to do this for us.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for raising this. We understand that `MultiSubnetFailover=True` is needed for SQL Server Always On Availability Groups across multiple subnets, and that filing a ticket each time is frustrating.

    We’ve captured this as a product improvement to make `MultiSubnetFailover` configurable directly on SQL Server connections on our roadmap. We’re reviewing the safest way to expose it because it helps multi-subnet listener setups. We'll reach back out to you when this feature is ready.
