Support AWS PrivateLink (Private Networking) for the OpenSearch connector

Our OpenSearch domain is VPC-only with no public endpoint (standard secure AWS setup). The OpenSearch connector only supports Direct and SSH tunnel - Direct can't reach a private domain, and SSH tunnel forces us to run a public bastion host (extra attack surface + maintenance).

Please add AWS PrivateLink / Private Networking as a connection method for the OpenSearch/Elasticsearch connectors (e.g. networking_method = PrivateLink), like other DB connectors already support. This would allow secure, fully-private ingestion with nothing exposed publicly and no bastion to maintain.

    Hi Yagel,

    Your request for private link support with opensearch connector is now in our backlog, this is a low usage connector so we'd need more customer requests for this to prioritize it.

    We will keep the community updated on this thread with any progress.
