Custom Time Scheduling for Syncs in Native Fivetran UI
PlannedRight now, there is no way to tell a given sync when within its set cadence to run.
Business use case: We have hourly syncs with marketing sources, so that we can monitor hourly spend performance. Ideally, we would want all of these to sync at 5 minutes past the hour, so that the syncs are finished early, and we can run the relevant dbt DAG to update data models by half past, allowing end business users a near 'real time' experience.
Currently, syncs could be running at 45 past the hour (I think it literally depends on the time of day you first set the sync running...) which delays the dbt DAG, and can result in delays for the business users.
