    Hi Aditya,

Thank you for this request. The Pinterest Ads API v5 does support timezone-based reporting, and I've confirmed this can be added to the Fivetran Pinterest connector.

The async report creation endpoint (POST /ad_accounts/{ad_account_id}/reports) accepts a reporting_timezone parameter, introduced in Pinterest API v5.16.0. It supports two values: PINTEREST_TIME_ZONE (Pinterest's own platform timezone) and AD_ACCOUNT_TIME_ZONE (the timezone configured on your Pinterest ad account). The Fivetran connector currently calls this endpoint but does not yet pass reporting_timezone, so reports default to UTC.

One important nuance: PST cannot be specified as a literal timezone value in the API. To receive PST-based reports after this is implemented, you would need to configure your Pinterest ad account's timezone to Pacific Time (America/Los_Angeles) in Pinterest's settings, and then select AD_ACCOUNT_TIME_ZONE in the Fivetran connector configuration. That combination would align the report data to PST.

I've logged an internal ticket to add reporting_timezone as a configurable dropdown to the upcoming custom reports setup in the Fivetran Pinterest connector. This way, the field can be configured separately for each report the connector syncs. While we can't provide a specific timeline, your request has been recorded and will be considered in our prioritization process.

We'll follow up on this thread when we have an update. Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Cheers,
    Luke
