Summary

Please add support for Mirror Sync behavior in the Planhat destination for Fivetran Activations, similar to what is currently available for destinations such as HubSpot.

Today, the Planhat destination only supports:

- Update Only
- Update or Create

This prevents organizations from maintaining a true warehouse-driven source of truth in Planhat because records can be created and updated, but not automatically removed when they no longer exist in the activation source dataset.

Business Use Case

We use Fivetran Activations to sync customer data from our data warehouse into Planhat.

Our source dataset contains a curated list of customers that should exist in Planhat. Over time, customers may no longer meet the criteria for inclusion due to changes in business rules, customer lifecycle stage, account ownership, or other data-driven conditions.

With the current activation behaviors:

- New records can be created.
- Existing records can be updated.
- Records that are removed from the source dataset remain in Planhat indefinitely.

This causes the destination system to gradually diverge from the warehouse and requires manual cleanup or custom automation outside of Fivetran.

Requested Functionality

Add a Mirror Sync option for the Planhat destination that supports:

- Create records that exist in the source but not in Planhat.
- Update records that exist in both systems.
- Delete (or optionally archive/deactivate) records that no longer exist in the source dataset.

This behavior should be consistent with Mirror Sync functionality already available for other activation destinations.

- Enables the data warehouse to remain the single source of truth.
- Reduces manual maintenance and cleanup in Planhat.
- Improves data quality and trust in customer success workflows.
- Simplifies audience and customer-segment management.
- Creates consistency across Fivetran Activation destinations.
