Notion: Add New Page default template support

Which rETL destination?: Notion

Additional details: In Notion databases, there is a feature that allows new pages to be created in a default template. This template allows new pages to be in a desired page/body layout. This feature is not supported for new pages when created by Fivetran Activations. There is no mapped property in a Notion sync that supports this. Please consider adding this feature.

    Hi Rachel!

    Thanks for sharing this! Just to confirm scope: this would be a per-sync setting that applies the target Notion database’s default template whenever that sync creates new pages. Existing pages would continue to be updated through mapped properties as they are today.

    Does that match what you need?

    I appreciate you picking this up. Yes, ideally it would be for a per sync basis, mapped to the notion database. If the default page layout is set, anytime a new page is created by Fivetran Activations, it would apply that layout. 
     
    Yes, unless explicitly set to be a different page layout, existing pages should be untouched.
