Klaviyo generates a high volume of data, particularly in tables like events where the data is immutable by design. Currently, Fivetran attempts to merge these tables to detect potential updates.
This process is resource-intensive on the destination (CPU/RAM) and leads to unnecessary costs in warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery. It would be a significant improvement to add a "Just Append / No Merge" configuration option for these types of immutable event tables. This could likely be applied to other connectors with similar data structures as well.
